1. Idea Summary

To create a product that enables Vocational Education staff at 4900 Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s) to easily populate course compliance materials with National Competency Standards.

2. Solving the problem

In Vocational Education there is are standards that require teachers to continually create documents using text from the vocational competency standards.  This same text is used in course planning and compliance documents and in documents produced from the learners.  It is held in government databases as word and pdf’s meaning that in every institute people are continually cutting and pasting the material – which is updated continually.  That is 4900 RTO’s cutting and pasting for compliance reasons.

3.  How do I intend to Fix this?

My product will enable RTO’s to take design their compliance documents in such a way that they will be field-based and the standards will populate the compliance documents ( different in each RTO) in an automated manner.

4.  Why do I want to fix this?

I have worked across 6 insitutions in the last 8 years and teachers in each institution spends too much time on this mundane task, taking quality time away from core business – teaching and Learning.Idea
